About Us
Welcome to The Red Door located one block east of the Whole Foods Co-op at 720 E. Fourth Street, Duluth, MN. The building was purchased on January 18, 2013 by Sharon Kangas. Work began immediately on a top-to-bottom makeover of the building. Much repairing and painting was needed to restore this building. New and reclaimed wood has been used to seamlessly fix the fire damage and stay true to the 1908 building’s history. The result is a storefront with a great deal of charm and character. The store opened on September 25, 2013 with a grand opening on December 13, 2013. Thanks to Nick, Julie, Peter and Jay for all the work with the make-over.
